Medium
and large enterprises often elect to install their own meeting
server to secure maximum value from Visual Nexus throughout the
organization. The software is billed on a concurrent user
basis, so the client software can be installed on every PC,
even if they use the system very infrequently. Smaller
enterprises, where a dedicated server cannot be justified ed,
can sign up with one of the growing number of service providers
who can offer the Visual Communications Nexus on a fixed
monthly fee basis.
Conference options
There are two
types of multi-participant virtual meeting rooms available with
the Visual Nexus Meeting Server that enable the chairman to
tailor the conference to the most efficient format.
-
In 'normal mode' all participants can speak freely to
contribute to the meeting.
-
In
'presentation mode' the conference chairman can call in and
hang up participants while also managing the video and audio
to allow a presentation or speech to be delivered.

Data
sharing options
Visual Nexus has two primary methods for data sharing:
1)
The first enables PowerPoint presentations to be viewed by a
large group in a webinar format. In this case the presentation
file - including all animation - is circulated to all meeting
participants
2)
The second option is full collaborative data sharing. Any
program running on a participants desktop may be shared with
the other delegates. Control may be passed between colleagues
and everyone can see the changes being made.

Easy to
use
Visual
Nexus is entirely software-based and is very intuitive - both
to set up and operate. Low initial capital costs are
complemented by a sophisticated range of features and functions
at delegates' disposal. Users report
that the solution's features create the interactivity and
energy of a traditional face-to-face meeting. Enhancing
the traditional videoconference experience, Visual Nexus can
significantly improve the spirit and productivity of
distributed teams.
