From 1999 Hack to InfoComm 2026 Innovation

Sometimes, one small change can change everything.

In 1999, I looked at the Indian video conferencing market and saw a wise opportunity.

At that time, VCON’s Cruiser was one of the popular video conferencing systems in India, priced at approximately ₹96,000. With ISDN connectivity and dedicated conferencing components, the technology was mostly PC-based.

Instead of simply accepting what was available in the market, I asked myself, “What if I built a conferencing solution that delivers the needs of our customers at the cost that the Indian market can afford?”

I created my own VC conferencing kit using a web camera, a PC-based ISDN codec, and conferencing software from Finland.

I launched it for about ₹60,000 in India. It gave me the confidence to believe that we could build, incorporate, and market our own technology alongside well-known companies from various countries.

And that belief stayed with us.
Let’s fast-forward to InfoComm India 2026.

AI-driven solutions, intelligent video collaboration, advanced audio, ColabX 2.0, and our immersive 3D conferencing experience were all on display at Booth BB01.

From building a ₹60,000 PC-based conferencing kit in 1999
To introducing 3D conferencing in 2026

One thing hasn’t changed in 27 years from developing technology to competing with it.

Stay tuned with me!

More milestones soon.
